Educating at all levels…
From facilitating Cultural Responsiveness Trainings, teaching elementary students, conducting parent trainings and publishing a children's book with diverse characters, Jennifer is committed to serving diverse individuals in the community. It is truly my passion to educate and I hope to continue to make a difference in the lives of others.
As a teacher in Denver, Co, I was able to educate students from diverse backgrounds. I was fulfilled in many ways including my belly from eating so many delicious foods from the homes of my students. Building rapport with the community brought me so much joy. As a young woman growing up in South Carolina, I had dreams of what my future would look like and remember writing down that I wanted to be a teacher. Educating over the years and expanding into pediatric therapy has proven to me that dreams really do come true.
A calm demeanor and ability to problem solve under pressure led me to excel in a career in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis with adults and children with intellectual disabilities. It's been an amazing journey and one that continues to humble me.
My educational background includes a MA in Applied Behavior Analysis from Cairn University in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. I hold a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University.
